A group jersey order becomes easier to check when every person, size and customization choice lives in one approved roster. Use this team jersey order checklist before requesting a quote or authorizing production. It is a planning guide, not a promise of product availability, customization options or delivery dates.
1. Choose the exact jersey before collecting sizes
Record the product link, color and version at the top of your roster. A team name alone may not identify the same item for every buyer. If your group wants several styles, give each style a separate reference so that the supplier can confirm each one independently.
Start with the 96 Jersey Supply catalog, then confirm the selected product’s current options before collecting payment from your group.
2. Collect measurements against the selected size chart
Ask each person to consult the chart for the exact item. Check whether it describes body measurements or finished garment measurements; those are not interchangeable. If garment measurements are provided, compare them with a comfortable jersey laid flat using the same measuring method. Record inches or centimeters explicitly, and do not assume an adult medium matches a youth medium or a medium in another style.
If someone plans to wear a shirt or hoodie underneath, have them consider that layer when assessing fit. Where a measurement or size option is unclear, request clarification before assigning a size.
3. Use one row for each person and item
- Internal row ID and product reference.
- Adult or youth sizing, selected size and quantity.
- Name exactly as requested, including capitalization and punctuation.
- Number exactly as requested, including any leading zero.
- Requested placement and other customization details, subject to confirmation.
- Buyer’s approval date and any unresolved question.
Format the number column as text in a spreadsheet so a value such as 07 does not silently become 7. Use a clear entry such as “No name requested” rather than leaving an ambiguous blank. Keep contact details separate from any roster shared publicly.
4. Reconcile quantities and approve the final version
Add quantities by product and size, then compare those subtotals with the overall quantity. Check for duplicate rows and missing approvals. Duplicate jersey numbers may be intentional, so flag them for review instead of changing them automatically. Ask every buyer to approve their own spelling, number and size.
Date the final roster and give it a version number. Send one approved version to the supplier and ask them to acknowledge it. If a change is needed afterward, request written acceptance of the revised row and any effect on cost or timing before assuming the change can be made.
5. Confirm the quote, proof and delivery terms
Request confirmation of availability, supported name and number options, decoration method, any minimum quantity, item costs, customization charges and shipping charges. Ask whether a visual proof or sample is available and whether it has a separate fee. A mockup can help check placement and spelling, but it does not establish physical fit, fabric quality or licensing.
Give the supplier your actual needed-by date and destination. Ask them to distinguish preparation or production time from transit time, and clarify whether an arrival date is an estimate or a commitment. Review cancellation, correction and return terms for the specific order before paying. Use only artwork you own or have permission to reproduce.
Quick questions before you submit
Can a group mix sizes? Ask for confirmation for the exact product and quantity. Do not assume every size shown elsewhere in a catalog is available for your order.
Should I order spare jerseys? Decide after confirming the roster, budget and supplier terms. There is no universal spare quantity that fits every group.
What should I check when the shipment arrives? Compare each item with the approved roster: product, size, name, number and quantity. Photograph any discrepancy and contact the supplier promptly under the applicable order terms.
